Pricing Model Breakdown

This pricing guide is broken down into five sections: policy disclosures, standard fees, taxes, writing & design, video, and photography.

  • Standard fees and tax rates will apply to ALL projects regardless of the “department” they come from.
  • Each department will have its own exclusive labor rate which are based on my expertise, years of experience, and industry averages. These rates apply to both shooting and post-production work.
  • You can access photography and cinematography by clicking on their logo above. They include a small sample of relevant work alongside the service lists with a button to access my portfolios to review my larger bodies of work.
  • The pricing for projects is based on a “add up” type format – example:

shooting labor + post-production labor + standard fees + taxes

  • I have calculated the labor costs per project based on each service/project offered to make client navigation easier

Writing, Graphic Design, and Animation Services

Labor rates are not negotiable. These rates are based on market research that garnered averages from freelance copywriters and graphic designers websites around the Denver Metro area offering the same or similar services on the market and the knowledge and expertise I bring to the table through my work experience and formal education.

I offer both hourly and per-word rates for my writing services. All services initially default to the hourly rates for copy-writing and article writing. I will determine if your ask qualifies for the per-word rates instead of the hourly rates during the consultation.

Below are all of the writing and graphic design services I offer. These are pretty straight forward so they do not have their own separate pages like the photography and video services do. Instead I have linked my Writing & Design portfolio so you can take a look at my work to determine if my skills and expertise align with your needs.

Labor rates are not negotiable. These rates are based on market research that garnered averages of multimedia production companies around the Denver Metro area offering the same or similar services on the market and the knowledge and expertise I bring to the table through my freelancing experience and formal education.

There are three labor rates that apply to the project contracts – shooting labor rate with editing, the cost of post-production labor, and shooting labor rates without editing. The latter is based on half of the total price of the hourly shooting labor rate at the base 4 hour tier + the high-side post-production labor rate issued under the Basic Edit tier. This ensures that the business remains competitive and profitable while ensuring employees are paid a living wage.

These rates apply to a 4-5 day work cycle, weekends are not included in post-production turn around estimates.

Photography Labor Rates

Labor rates are not negotiable. These rates are based on market research that garnered averages from freelance photographers and photography companies around the Denver Metro area offering the same or similar services on the market AND the knowledge and expertise I bring to the table through my work experience and formal education.

My photography service labor rates are structured differently from my video services. The labor rates are divided by the type of service AND the hourly rates fro both shooting and post-production. I do not offer photography shoots without editing services – this is rooted in the philosophy that end-to-end production is representative of the photographers integrity and ability to capture the full essence of any moment she might capture. This also ensures that the business remains competitive and profitable while ensuring employees are paid a living wage.

The following are important elements to note when contracting with MXT Photography and EarthView Media Group for photography services.

Remember that shoot and production labor rates are separate because the workflow and structures are different. Consultations are required for ALL photography shoots. Contracts, release forms, and liability waivers are required before any work can begin. All labor costs, fees, taxes, and other costs are to be paid IN FULL before the final shoot can be delivered – no exceptions.

Final note:

Wedding and Event services include an additional Venue Premium which is used to determine the number of additional photographers that will be required to adequately cover all aspects of the wedding or event. Typically I can manage by myself but when the size and complexities of the shoot environment increase – I will need to hire more photographers to ensure all elements discussed in the consultation can be captured to deliver complete packages of high quality to my clients.
